What is the MECC Perks Program?

MECC PERKS PROGRAM is the Maryland Eye Care Center free and innovative program designed to help patients improve their vision and health by distributing exceptional vision and medical benefits to the local community.

MECC PERKS PROGRAM gives patients convenient access to excellent eye care for less than what they would pay through most Vision Plans and Insurances.

Is the MECC Perks Program the same as medical or vision insurance?

No. The program is not an insurance product or vision plan.

Is there any enrollment fees to join the MECC Perks Program?

No. There is no charge to enroll. Anyone without insurance may get access to the benefits. Just bring your MECC Perks card with you and/or mention the program when scheduling your appointment.

What are my benefits?

When you mention the MECC Perks Program, you and your family get access to exceptional benefits, including, ophthalmic testing and procedures, vision benefits, contacts, prescription glasses, gift certificates toward designer sunglasses, and more.

How do I get access to MECC Perks Program benefits?

When booking your appointment, mention the MECC Perks Program and one of our representatives will be happy to assist you. Please, call the office at (301) 431-0431 to book your appointment or visit our website.

How often can I use my MECC Perks Program card?

You and your family may use all benefits until the card/promotions expire.
Please, note that Routine Eye Exam for only $99, which includes a Refraction, a pair of Single Vision Glasses, and a pair of Plano Polarized Sunglasses* is an Annual benefit and may be used one time only between 07/072021 and 07/072022.

When does my MECC Perks Program card expire?

Your card is valid for one year from the issue date. Please, check the issue date on the back of your card.

Can I get a new card when my card expires?

Yes. When your card expires, please call our office at (301) 431-0431 to request anew one.

Can I use my private health insurance in addition to the MECC Perks Program?

No. The MECC Perks Program is not an insurance product and offers may not be combined with any insurances, coupons, discounts, or promotions.
